Curb Angels

Okay, let's try this again, shall we? This comic I'm working on is my baby that's been in the works since I was about thirteen. Same set of characters, minus one, numeral physical and name changes and a complete storyline overhaul. All I can say is: MAN WILL THIS THING EVER GET UNDERWAY?
The answer is never, but I'll fly as close to the sun as I possibly can get with this thing.

So here are the four main characters: Waffles, Kat, Rosy and Thesia. You may have seen something familiar to this in my gallery a few years back. You are not mistaken: [link]
This is sort of a reinvention. I'm about as keen at starting this story as I was back then, but something along the way happened. I became discouraged, disenchanted with the whole concept. I let it alone, drawing the characters periodically but never committing to anything serious. Commitment seems to be my problem. The story was originally titled "Trespassers", but the story changed so much that the titled didn't relate AT ALL. At that point I put the whole project on hold. Without a name to give it I was at a loss. Recently I've been gearing myself up to work on it again, to start writing a script and commit ONLY to this story. Not Jagger Village, Cute Boring World or anything else that distracted me from working on it. A word of advice to anybody wishing to work on a story: WORK ON ONE AT A TIME! Don't complicate things! No matter how ambitious you may think you are it doesn't work, believe me.

This may be just a sketch... a sketch that I made several months ago, mind you. I wanted to color it but it's too much work to bother with at the moment. I don't even like them that much. Since this sketch I've already changed their outfits. Kat will have black skinny pants, no more kilt. Thesia's Indiana Jane outfit is close but still subject to change. Same with Rosy. Her hair still irks me but I'm close. The only character I feel satisfied with at the moment is Waffles.

As for the name, I've been playing around with so many words to make something work. Cry Cartel was one and Curb Angels was the other. Both don't seem to be used for anything else at the moment. Cry Cartel has a nice sound and relates to the story, where as Curb Angels sounds a little unoriginal but relates to the whole biblical/gang theme in the story. So I'm torn but I'm closer than I was a year ago.

I've blathered enough. Here is what I have so far and there will be more to come. My baby needs me.

P.S. Ignore the whole "buy print" thing. I did it by accident and I don't know how to get rid of that option. There are no prints for sale.
